1.Who we are

Play Your Way is operated by Ideazone Operations LLC, doing business as Play Your Way ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Play Your Way mobile app and related services (the "Service").

2.What the Service does

Play Your Way lets a "host" build a live, real-world team challenge game by placing checkpoints in a city, writing challenges at each stop, and inviting "players" to join. During a game, players travel between checkpoints, complete challenges, and submit photo or video proof, which the host (or a co-host) reviews.

3.Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are not yet 16, a parent or guardian may create and manage an account on your behalf.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• One free-credit signup grant per verified person/email — creating multiple accounts to claim additional free credits is not permitted.

4.Real-world safety

• Play Your Way is played in the real world. You are solely responsible for your own safety, for following traffic laws and posted signage, for respecting private property, and for using good judgment (including while distracted by your phone) at all times while playing.
• Hosts are responsible for choosing checkpoints and challenges that are reasonably safe and legal for the group playing, and for not directing players into private, dangerous, or restricted locations.
• We do not supervise gameplay in real time and are not responsible for injuries, property damage, accidents, or disputes arising from participation in a game.
• Do not play in ways that violate local law, trespass, or endanger yourself or others.

5.Credits, bands, and payment

• Games are hosted using credits, a virtual balance ($1 = 1 credit) purchased through our payment processor. Credits are not currency, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.
• Opening a game's lobby charges credits based on the player "band" (capacity tier) chosen, plus an additional charge if the host uses an "Unlock" feature (AI-generated trivia, co-hosts, and similar extras). See our Pricing page.
• Purchased credits do not expire and roll over. Free/promotional credits (including the signup grant) expire 45 days after being granted.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's own buyer terms in addition to these Terms.

6.Content you submit

• You retain ownership of photos and videos you submit as proof during a game.
• By submitting content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to your game's host and teammates for the purpose of running the game and generating your post-game recap.
• Marketing use is opt-in only. Your content is only eligible for use in our marketing if the host has turned on that specific game's "allow Play Your Way to feature this game" setting, and you joined that game after it was enabled.

7.Acceptable use

You agree not to: harass or endanger other players; submit illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited content; attempt to manipulate credits, ratings, or leaderboards; reverse-engineer or abuse the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8.Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including for safety concerns raised by other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9.Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including anything arising from real-world gameplay described in Section 4.

10.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
